Teemu is a qualified teacher in History and Civics. He took his teacher studies (PGCE) in The University of Lancaster, England with completing the courses in The University of Tampere in order to acquire a Finnish teaching qualification. Teemu is specialized in ICT-based learning and is currently the head of ICT-projects in Department of Education in Pori. The ICT-projects are mainly aiming at the deployment of the means of digital pedagogy in comprehensive education. Teemu has a wide understanding of different aspects of Finnish National Curriculum, for the moment being a member of a National Board of Education workgroup for Curriculum development.
